- Compute monthly living costs plus 10 percent tax plus 30 percent buffer
- Divide by 100 realistic hours (not 160 - you must also find clients)
- Compare against 5 same-level freelancers for market rate
- Take the highest as floor, write it big
- Build 3 packages: basic, recommended, premium
